Summary: A collector is to be both envied and concerned for. On one hand, it's nice to see tenacity in the form of finding things that make one's heart complete. On the other, it's hard to believe one would spend so much time collecting oftentimes familiar trinkets that may or may not have cost the person an arm and a leg. Then again, what if an arm and a leg is just part of what that guy collects...?

History: No one knows who the dreaded Collector is. All we know is that he's an entomologist with a major admiration for spiders, an abusive upbringing, and a horrific specialty for setting up traps within people's own homes so that he may kill the majority and kidnap the one he likes the most for torture or to drive insane into becoming his minions. Those who die are the lucky ones, and even then, death doesn't come mercifully.

Notable Kills: The cat-window-guillotine trap, the bear trap-floor trap, the spring loaded-nail wall-catapult trap, the angry dog trap, THE COMBINE HARVESTER MASSACRE, the wall katana trap, the crusher trap, the iron maiden box trap...these films are insane!

Final Fate: After dodging karma and death all at once for so long, the Collector's arch-enemy, an ex-convict named Arkin O' Brian, finally tracks him down and puts him on the receiving end of his tortures for once. We simply cannot guarantee this madman's survival...thank God...

Powers/Abilities: An almost inhuman ability to create elaborate traps from scratch, as well as amazing resilience. To give you an idea, he's been set on fire twice.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 4.5-He's got the mysterious visage. He's got the intimidating mask. And more importantly, he's got the brains and an infinite bag of tricks that range from clever to just plain barbarously sadistic. Pray that there will never be a killer as inventive nor invulnerable as the Collector.

Trivia: -The first film was once a script called "The Midnight Man", and was pitched as a prequel to "Saw". Naturally, that didn't pan out.

-The Collector's identity is derived from a popular urban legend that, no matter the country, always involves a killer that collects human parts. Perhaps one of the most infamous Collectors is the very real Anatoly Moskvin, a former Russian historian. Thankfully, all he did was rob graves to get at the parts for his makeshift life-size doll collection. Then again, grave-robbing is still pretty lousy, especially considering he robbed over 29 of them.
